vvmg14
I would like to know if I can eat nuts that may have been prepared with peanut oil? If not, which nuts am I able to eat, do I have to prepare my own nuts if I want them roasted? Thanks!!!
jmcbn
Nope, sorry, peanut oil is out. You'll need to read the ingredient list of any nuts you'd like as ingredients can vary from region to region.A word of advice though, don;t go nuts with the nuts

TryingOver
I've had good luck with pistachios and with checking in the bulk section rather than canned nuts (some of the bulk containers in the stores near me still list out the ingredients). If I want "mixed nuts" I mix them myself. However, I also really like to buy my own and roast them with some spices (pre-whole30 I ate a lot of the Diamond flavored almonds, especially spicy ones, so I like to add a little chili powder).
