Hi I'm Eric, and I am starting today.  I am about halfway through the Whole30 book.  I ride bikes a lot, and have more than I care to admit!  My weight has been creeping up over the last nine years, along with assorted aches and pains.  I have in the past consumed a lot of sugar (gels, bars, chews, sports drinks) to fuel all day ( or multi-day) efforts.  I am looking to become fat adapted and drop about 20-25 pounds (not in 30 days) in the process.  I will be scanning the forum for what other people use for endurance, but if you have some go to's you'd like to share, please do!  I wish everyone the best of luck.  No craft beer, pizza,  or ice cream for 30 days?  I am trying to consider it a "vacation", rather than a jail term!  :-)

Hi Eric, lots of well wishes.  My hubby and I are on day 10, so far so good. 

There are lots of great recipes, good advice, etc. 

 

Keep up your positive attitude, it will come in handy about day 7
