June 2nd Start- finish before 4th of July!

I'm starting my first whole30 today.  I have been putting off starting the past 2 days, coming up with excuses.  No more excuses...here I go!  Just had two fried eggs and grilled veggies for breakfast.  Want coffee but not sure what to do because I always use stevia and creamer in it.  I guess those are my first two habits to break!

Good luck today!  There is an almond milk made by Califia Farms, unsweetened vanilla, its pretty good.  My husband has been using that in his and is happy with it.  

 

You are worth not making excuses for!

I started today too. Breakfast was pretty awesome -- apple-chicken sausage, mushrooms, broccoli, and an egg; coffee w/coconut milk

 

The coffee tastes different this way, but not in a bad way. I always used half and half or milk before, no sweetener. I did read somewhere on these forums that coconut milk can clump, so I used an immersion blender and it came out creamy and frothy.

 

I think tonight's planned dinner will rock too! My kids love paella, so I'm making that for the family, and then a cauliflower-rice version for myself.
