Krispykat
Why does liver taste so nasty- in that way where sometimes i physically cannot swallow it- if it's so healthy and loaded with nutrients? I'm wondering if the repulsiveness means something?

Moderators ShannonM816 Posted June 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 2, 2016 There's a whole thread of liver recipes here, perhaps a new recipe would help you like it more? If you like sausages, you might start with some of the organ meat sausages like braunschweiger or head cheese. (Those links are to definitely compliant versions from a good company that uses grass fed, pastured, organic, etc. meats.)
LucieB
Try marinating the liver in lemon juice. Read that I think in Well Fed. Works for me to reduce the flavor. Normally I don't mind it, but for some recipes I prefer it.
jmcbn
If you like Pâté then >this< reat compliant recipe.... Pre W30 I found a smooth pâté was the easiest way for me to get my liver in, now I just slice & saute.
