Started June 6th

Finally been able to get logged in - never did get my validation email so had to change email addresses! Seems to have sorted it! 


Anyway, I'm now on day 3 of my first Whole30 and so far things seem to be going well! I'm fortunate enough to live in Nepal where I do most of my cooking from scratch to begin with (there's not much in the way of pre-packaged things here!). That being said, avoiding things like rice and lentils in a country where the staple diet is rice and lentils is definitely interesting! 


My hardest thing at the moment is making sure I have a compliant breakfast - I can't stand the taste of eggs so having to make sure I have meat on hand is definitely a challenge; but so far, so good! I'm going to brunch for a friend's hen do at the weekend so it's going to be another challenge avoiding bread and pastries (definitely a weakness for me!) 


So yes, this is me! Most people call me Midge so that's what I'll be going as around here. Looking forward to seeing what the next 27 days bring!
