lunawishs Posted June 13, 2016 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Hello, I'm on day 11 and I am really struggling with my meal portion. If I eat just enough, I usually feel shaky after 2-3 hours and I feel like I need a snack. It could be my old habit? But when I stuff myself until I can't eat anymore, I tend to get indigestion and I'm not hungry for 6-7 hours. Any suggestions? Is it okay to eat a little fat like 1/2 avocado or a spoonful of mayo when I feel the need for snack? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Please post two or three days of typical meals including portion sizes related to the template, specific veggies, protein and fats as well as water intake and anything else you feel is relevant. I'm not currently doing a Whole30 and was treated to some quality dark chocolate by a client at work last week. I ate two squares mid morning along with some rooibos tea each day until the bar was gone, and the next day I felt 'hungry' at my newly established chocolate time. I made the usual cuppa and sat it out, and sure enough after 10mins or so that hunger pang was gone - we are most definitely creatures of habit. That said as SugarCube has suggested do post a few days worth of your typical food intake as it could just be an issue with the composition of your meals... I am probably not eating enough if I need snacks. My stomach probably needs some adjusting period. I'll try to add an extra serving of veggies or fat and see how I do. Thank you. lunawishs Posted June 14, 2016 Author Share Posted June 14, 2016 I think I did much better today and was able to hold up for 4-6 hours between meals. My body is adjusting! So I'll continue to follow the meal team plate and if I keep getting hungry before 4 hours, I'll post what I eat. Thank you so much for all your advices.
