abiscuit
Was cruising happily through day 3 today, then a dentist appointment turned into some surgery and well... I can't use my front chompers for the next month. I am determined not to let this be a set back and have assurances that I will be able to chew (if not bite) just fine after today. While the pain is high though, can I bend the smoothie rule? With compliant ingredients? Water/Veggies/Fruit/Spice (no protein powder or anything)? Karen_Suep
Why not make soups instead?
abiscuit
Fair point! Not sure I have soup base stuff... Are there any recipes you know of that more on the simple side? Otherwise will venture out once the meds have worn off, heh.
jmcbn
Just blend any cooked veg you have with some broth - or water & seasonings of your choice if you don't have broth - simple!
laura_juggles
You could probably manage with softly scrambled eggs and mashed potato/mashed sweet potato too. They don't need much chewing. Once you're feeling better, I'd probably opt for keeping everything cut a little on the smaller side so it's easier to chew, just to give your mouth a little break.
