I'm 60 years old and have a long history of knee problems. I've had surgery to repair torn meniscus on each knee but have still always had some pain especially with certain movements. I have arthritis in both knees as well. I started the Whole30 on Monday and am feeling better already!

I decided to start Whole30 due to the pain in my knees increasing to the point that walking was getting difficult. The pain was affecting my sleep and my mood. Despite knowing it would be more difficult starting at this time due to the 4th of July always being a big celebration for my family and having a 3 day trip planned that will fall right at the end of the 30 days I felt it was time to just go for it and try to figure the celebration and travel out.

I'm seeing the benefit and am determined to make it through the whole 30 days but would love some help with ideas in how to handle traveling when I know we will have to eat out for 3 days!! Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
