Mrssandoval
Hi all, I'm on day 13 and am shocked at how my libido has dropped dramatically. Anyone else experiencing this? Or, any explination for it? It's not very helpful as we are ttc. I will be done with the program by next cycle, however. I'm eating great. Stuffed peppers with turkey, veggies, berries, avocados, guac, eggs and sweet potato, nuts, mostly. Am I doing something wrong? Link to comment
Karen
Where are you in your cycle - before or after ovulation? Libido is often high prior to ovulation, then drops off after. Our instincts want us to perpetuate the species so the want is much higher when we are near ovulation. After ovulation, that instinct backs off as sex won't result in a baby after ovulation. This may be more pronounced as your hormones adjust during the program. Link to comment
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted June 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 27, 2016 You may want to take a read through this timely blog post from this morning as well... while it's easy to pigeon hole ourselves into thinking everything is because of food, while a lot is, some things aren't. There's not really anything about eating whole foods that is going to affect your sex drive except maybe the balancing of your hormones if you come from a place of the Standard American Diet or disordered eating. http://whole30.com/2016/06/is-this-normal/ Link to comment

I just feel A sexual.. Uninterested and Unattracted/attractive. It definitely isn't status quo. Link to comment
