annielally13
Hi Ladies, I saw a little talk on here about this, but I just wanted to bring it up again. My period came a week early and has lasted 7 days now, when usually it only lasts 4 due to my birth control. I figured it has to do with my change in diet, but the fact that it is still persisting even while I have started a new cycle of birth control is confusing me a bit. Has this happened to other women? I am 21 years old and have had mostly regular periods since I was 12 years old, and have been on this particular pill for over a year. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks! Link to comment
Karen_Suep
It could be hormones balancing out. If you're concerned call your doctor Link to comment
Administrators ladyshanny Posted July 16, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 16, 2016 Hi Annie, There is a lot of fluctuation while your hormones balance out, especially if your diet prior to Whole30 was really a departure from what you're doing now. Here are a couple links to some good information from one of our advanced members. http://forum.whole30.com/topic/10164-changes-in-menstrual-cycle/page-9#entry367321 http://forum.whole30.com/topic/10164-changes-in-menstrual-cycle/page-9#entry364880 This entire thread that I've linked above is good reading.
