Barbies
Well...I DID IT...The Whole 30 days!!! I reintroduce dairy, non gluten grains and soy (boo corn and soy) Not sure how to adjust meal template. 1. Do I eat less fat to make up for fat in dairy products? 2. Do I simply substitute same volume of rice or quinoa for potato? Thanks for any help you folks can give.

Moderators ShannonM816 Posted July 26, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 26, 2016 Sorry no one answered this yet. For number one, I would say, if you're eating full fat dairy, it makes sense to count that as at least part of your fat. If you're eating skim or low fat dairy, obviously, that's not much fat and you'd still need to include added fat in the meal. For number two, that seems like a good plan, to use roughly the same amount of rice/pasta/corn/whatever as you would if you were having potato or sweet potato. Barbies
Thanks. I am finding your responses helpful. I really have to keep the Whole 30 meal template in mind because 30 years of yo yo dieting (low fat low calorie) is stuck in my mind. I'm going to practice through August then do my second W30 September 5 with the group I found on Facebook
