I've started today, 27th July 2016. I know that a random Wednesday isn't the obvious day to start, but it works for me!

I purchased the Whole30 Kindle book on Sunday, and as I have lots of things coming up in the next few weeks, needed to get started before my motivation went away.

Did you start today?

Hi @Sweets4 and @oogabooga! So glad you started with me. How are you both doing after just a day?

I did really well yesterday, but I expected to since it was my first day.

The thing I expected to be most of a problem wasn't. I drink tea with milk every morning. I tried almond milk a few days ago and decided against it. So yesterday I drank Earl Gray with a bit of lemon. It wasn't my normal tea, but it was ok.

Hi!

I'm good today, yesterday was pretty unstructured but with compliant foods.  A bit too much coconut milk/cream (whatever the solid part in the milk can is) but hoping to get the balance right.  Day 3 is usually my day of doom.

I'm a black tea girl - I usually have milk in my coffee but have been having it black.  Put some ice cubes in it today as it's pretty warm and it was nice.

I started July 27 too :) so far so good but I have been on and off paleo for a few years. Some of my "good" choices like organic wegmans ketchup don't work now though so I am adapting lol. I made the whole30 ketchup last night. My stomach aches today though :(

This inspired me to make a batch of 'ketchup' at the last minute today.  I didn't have any dates/sweetener but it's actually really nice - kind of like a pasta sauce with a kick.  Cracker of a headache today - thought it might be from not having caffeine this morning or being a bit dehydrated but part of me would actually be pleased if it's a result of Whole30.  I like the thought of clearing some of the nasties out :)  Hope the stomach plays ball xx

Yay for "ketchup" :)

How is everyone doing? Day 3 was ROUGH for me. Day 4 okay. Now on day 5 I feel pretty amazing. Been helping my oldest move into his first home ( with only a fridge and grill so far) so food has been a bit of a challenge but we are eating lots of fresh fruits vs. the typical cheese and crackers I would have normally brought :)

Well done, sounds like you've done really well with what you've got.  Moving is always a rather mammoth undertaking.  I've been doing pretty well: body doesn't look different though my skin seems to be clearer.  I was pleased with the choices I made today while surrounded by other foods and only needed 3 meals (and didn't eat anything extra despite knowing that).  Had a bit less fruit today as well - I know it's good stuff but I felt like I had a bit much the past couple of days.  Keeping busy seems pretty important too.  I had a bit of a spat with my sister on day 4 - not sure if it was kill all the things or because I was totally right and she was totally wrong haha.  On we go :)

This would have been easier for me if I hadn't started a few days before our family holiday... Oh, well, I needed to start so I didn't lose momentum.

My husband and little boy have been very supportive so far. We're camping, so we're cooking a lot of our food but also eating out a lot, compared to being at home.

We're having a quiet day at the campsite (it's a good thing -- it's a bit rainy in King's Lynn today!) and I planned ahead for tasty health food today.

I'm glad you're doing well. It's Day 7 and we're about to hit the end of week one! Haven't we done well?! Let's pat ourselves on the back.:-D :-) :-D

Well good on you ConnieOI - it'd be really easy to just use this trip as a reason to throw it in so you're doing well.  Good to see the men folk are helping out too.  I think we all know that there will never be a perfect time to do this - I've now got a "dinner and drinks" thing on Wednesday, but will stick with it.  Part of me in enjoying knowing how many good choices I've made of late, including about things I was unable to stick with before.

So yay.  Happy day 7.

Hello! I also started on July 27th! Wednesday seemed like as good a day as any to start! Is it the first Whole30 for anyone else? How's it going for you all now that we have finished day 13?? I'm slowly starting to see improvements, but my stomach was not loving all the healthy food the first few days (as sad as that is to admit), but I powered through and feel pretty good now! Ate out at a restaurant for the first time last night, and it was an experience! I am so impressed you went camping ConnieOI!!

Happy day 13 everyone! Almost halfway there!
