weighing meat portions

I know. Palm-size of protein. But I honestly don't know if I am eating too little or too much based on that. A palm-size of meat 1/2 inch thick or 1 1/2 inches thick?  It would help to have a general oz size (for those of us in the U.S, !) just so I can measure a portion and then eye that visual for every meal. Thanks!

Ohhhhh! Thank you! That helps. I have been trying to find the picture of the template on the website and in my book to check. I know I have seen it, but can't find it.
