I love my friends and family, but they do think I'm a little bonkers for not eating carbohydrates anymore ('not even whole grains?').Yesterday went well, I think. I ate a lot, because I figured the most important thing for the next two weeks is to not fall off the wagon! That said, pure almond butter is expensive so I shouldn't eat it quite so quickly! jmcbn Posted August 1, 2016 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Hey there & welcome!Just be very mindful with the almond butter - not only is it expensive, it can very quickly become a crutch that will prop up any sugar cravings... plus it's not your optimum fat source due to it's poor omega 3:6 ratio.... AND it can be pretty hard on the digestive system.... Have you tried making home-made mayo? Cheap, tasty, more optimum fat source, and less likely to be a food without brakes... Good luck for day 2!
