supersillyis
i havn't officially tried a paleo diet yet, but my normal diet basically is paleo already with one big exception. i already don't eat any dairy or refined sugar, and rarely consume potatoes or corn, only in the form of fried golden delicious on weekends. i've been experimenting with fermenting heirloom beans. they don't cause flatulence, which would naturally lead me to believe that it staves off the toxins somehow. does anyone know why fermenting beans doesn't go the whole nine yards? i know that i'm not getting complete protein, but i can't afford good meat every day, and i'm not going to eat factory meat. Johnny M
Fermenting/soaking/cooking does help reduce some of the toxins but we still don't feel beans are a great source if nutrition and still disrupt the gut for many people
