WhitRich
Day 30!!! So excited!! But I woke up today with a cough, a sore throat, and a bit of a chill. Not exactly how I wanted to end my experience! I still have a large patch of dry skin on my chin and nose where I had some kind of reaction to something that I can't figure out. I also feel like I've missed out on the tiger's blood. I had my thyroid tested on day 11 and my signaling hormone was really high which they said can cause fatigue. I'm wondering if I should extend to another 30 days? Feeling a bit bummed because I don't have all the magic. Advice?!
Staggolee41
I got sick multiple times during my Whole30. You know what works absolute magic? Bone broth. Make some and drink it. Also, listen to your body, and do what it's asking you - rest! As for extending and tiger blood... Some will never get the tiger blood. I found it was lightly sprinkled in random spots during my Whole30. If you don't get it, no big deal - what other NSVs are you experiencing? I'm sure there's some goodness in there. Since you've got an extra factor in play - your thyroid - you might extend and see how you react to different levels of the FODMAP list.
