AnyaBanana11
Hello, my friend and I have been doing the whole30 and beyond. We are currently on day 48! But we have both been exhibiting some bizarre symptoms. We have been getting sore throats and sinus issues, low blood pressure (98/58), dizzy feeling, and tired. I thought this way of eating would be heathy but it only seems to us that the longer we do it the more problems we get. Are we messing up and not knowing it? We eat by the Whole30 template but I'm afraid we are hurting out bodies. What could be causing the low blood pressure? We have not had this issue before starting the Whole30. Thank you for your insight!
JulieP757
Are you drinking plenty of water (1/2 oz. per lb of body weight)? When you become dehydrated, your body loses more water than it takes in. Even mild dehydration can cause weakness, dizziness and fatigue. Also, are you salting your foods? When eating unprocessed food, this is critical. Lack of salt makes me feel like crap. Could it be that the sinus/sore throat issue is allergy related? My mom was complaining of similar symptoms last week and she's not doing a Whole 30. BTW - that's my normal blood pressure. Mine has always been really low.
