Just finished Day #1 of Whole 30.  I made sure I ate enough food so I wouldn't feel hungry.  I'm a BIG, BIG sugar addict.  Haven't felt any sugar withdrawal, but I know it's coming.  Been drinking my coffee and tea black.  It. Is. Not. Hard.

Biggest concern is that I'm a marathon runner.  Last race was 7/30/16.  Have a series of races coming up in September.  4 states/4 marathons/4 days.  The races will fall when Whole30 is complete but I'll be in reinstatement phase.  I will not be trying to set a PR at any of these races, I'm just working on running the 50 states.  As it gets closer, I'll need help on carbo fuel during the runs.

On to Day#2

I as well started yesterday.  This is my second go around, never completing 30 days.  I did feel lightheaded at they gym this morning.  I usually don't eat anything beforehand but I think I should have.  Felt weak and not my normal self and this is just after one whole day.

What did you eat yesterday? Many times, even on the first day, people go much too low in their food for the day, thinking this is like a "diet" when it's really not. Feel free to post your intake for the day and we can see if you might need a tweaking?

I had the same experience at the gym last week...figured week 1 with my body going through so many adjustments it's probably best to take it easy at the gym?  At least that is what I told myself :)

This is also what we tell people! :) It is a large adjustment in the first 10-14 days on average so being kind and giving yourself grace is never poorly placed.
