Lesmiz4fr
I am on day 12 of my first round of Whole30 and changes are kicking in. I'm sleeping better, I'm not hungry between meals and the cravings have really gone away. I'm amazed and happy that my son got me to "go for it." I was slowly moving toward the healthy changes. I hadn't had bread or sweets for over a month so cutting out foods wasn't difficult. Not snacking WAS. Cooking fresh foods, reading labels and understanding what they contain - what an eye opener. And my son was right: the mayonnaise is amazing. I'll never go back to store bought. All in all, this is going very well for me. I found a recipe for Sweet Potato Hummus that was a starting point for me. The combination and ingredients are wonderful. I hope you enjoy it. I am so glad I am making these changes. No chickpeas! The "hummus" should be in quotes. Sweet potato, lemon juice, garlic, matching, roasted red pepper.
Lesmiz4fr
NO CHICKPEAS! So sorry. I wrote "Whole30 Compliant" in the recipe. Should have put it in the post too. I'm learning.
Lesmiz4fr
This is the same recipe that I posted earlier - just with a cleared up title and information: NO CHICKPEAS. I wrote "Whole30 Compliant" in the recipe but didn't think to write it in my notes Download this recipe. It is corrected. Thanks. Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted August 11, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 11, 2016 I've merged both your threads into one to help keep the forum tidy. Good recipe share! For those choosing to make this, remember you want to be mindful of eating it... dips like this can often be hand to mouth mindless snacking which is discouraged. As part of a template meal, this would be delish tho!
Lesmiz4fr
I love fresh chicken burgers with mushrooms and onions. Then I look for a great side. The "Hummus" is a great side as well as a dip for the burger. It's just enough and never too much that way. And thanks for merging the posts.
