Misvic
Hi everyone. Just starting Whole30. Wondering if anyone out here had any clear up of their psoriasis. I was diagnosed with inverse psoriasis a few months ago! It's awfully hard to treat. I use steroid cream but thins my skin. Family history of this and excema. Hoping Whole30 will clear it up somewhat? Link to comment
Carlaccini
Hi There! Fellow chronic skin issue person right here. I have multiple skin issues: Acne Inversa, Roseacea, chronic eczema, and psoriasis. Most of these issues cleared after eliminating dairy from my life. I have discovered over the years that I am highly sensitive to dairy and I need to limit ghee (clarified butter) as well. Some other foods you might want to keep limited (you could eliminate - but I would not 100% eliminate unless you know you are sensitive. I also feel that eliminating these foods right out of gate might seem overwhelming and may feel too restrictive. So hence why I say limit) Eggs Nuts Nightshades: Tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, peppers. Note: I have noticed that these items cooked are less inflammatory than raw. So you might want to include them cooked over raw. And always, always peeled. Link to comment
