JollyRoger45
I have been on the Whole 30 for 13 days and am doing great with it. I really like coffee. The one and only issue for me is I cannot drink black coffee (comes from bad experiences with poor coffee in the Air Force) and I have tried almond milk and coconut milk and they do not sweeten the coffee enough for me to drink it. Is there no way I could use Stevia for just this one thing so I could continue to enjoy coffee while continuing the Whole30 program?
Karen_Suep
Nope. Stevia and other sweeteners are out. Either keep trying coffee with various other milks or skip it all together. I found that I do better taste wise when I find a local roaster. One local roaster knows me pretty well as often as I order from them. Coincidentally, that is one of the few coffees I can drink remotely close to black
Wendy and Frankie
I had the same issue while doing my two W30's. I can't stand black coffee, and almond or coconut milk don't cut it for me. So, I just gave up on coffee while on the W30. I had black tea instead, which gave me the caffeine boost, and I also threw in an herbal blueberry or peach teabag to give it a slightly sweet taste (but sugar/sweetener free).
