BP coffee between meals one and two?

I am doing the Whole30 along with my sister and brother in-law.  I have had BP coffee in the mornings (or use Crio Bru) .  I was wondering if it would be out of the question in having it during my whole30.  Could it be used as my fat source?  We are starting this week.

BP coffee is fine as a fat source as a part of a meal, but should not replace a meal. I'd also not recommend it between meals either as I know it can suppress the appetite which is not what you're wanting to do here. You'd also need to ensure that the butter is clarified to remove any milk proteins/solids in keeping with the no dairy rule.

Thanks for you response, jmcbn.  I will keep it then as part of my fat source at my meal.  I use ghee and coconut oil (half-tablespoon each).   I never really cared much for coffee unless it had a lot of cream.  But finding good quality coffee, you don't need to have all the other stuff to enjoy a cup.  So I, maybe on an occasion, have it outside the home(only black, no cream or sugar)
