Hello,

I felt so good about this I had to share. For me a chronic snacking, binging, sugar addict to be able to face my "demon" and opt for a healthy alternative and STOP after is a miracle!!!! I have been battling this problem since I was a child and have NEVER been able to rationally say no to myself and move on. All the books would tell me, 'keep yourself busy, drink water, take a walk, think about something else' blah blah blah, I tried and tried and the 'demon' would NOT let up. The whole 30 has worked wonders on my mentality towards food and eating. I even forgot to eat lunch one day because I wasn't hungry... I have never done that before! Tomorrow is my half way mark and I feel SO determined I know I am going to keep going past 30 days! I love this program, I love the food I am eating and I LOVE LOVE LOVE having mental freedom from my food addiction!!!

Today is Day 14 for me (and my husband). Chronic snacking has been my demon. I believe due to a diet I did a few years ago that involved five small meals through the day. My brain got trained to just always be looking for the next thing to eat. A few weeks into Whole30 and I am feeling that "freedom" I've heard mentioned about Whole30. I am eating 3 great meals- and have just a few times felt I needed to eat something (approved) in between. Making progress! Cravings reduced to gone and my brain is getting retrained to enjoy the healthy meals! By the way- I am feeling great in so many ways! I am certain I will go beyond the 30 days to truly solidify my new habits.
