@Tatinana - consider that if you are wanting best possible results you should be following both the rules and recommendations and we recommend not snacking. Eating your template meals 4-5 hours apart, if they are built correctly, should negate needing to snack. :) There's lots of reading in my signature below.

@Tatinana - ya, so check out the meal template. The idea is to make your meals large enough and well-composed so that you can go 4-5 hours without having to eat again. This gives your system a chance to process what you're putting in, distribute the nutrients and then "rest". Our digestive systems aren't meant to be running all day long which is what they have to do if you are eating every 2-3 hours.

If you do need something between meals while you are figuring out the best meal size and composition for yourself, the recommendation is to have a mini meal or at least either fat and protein or protein and veggies. Just those cucumbers isn't going to do anything for you.
