During my first, I wasn't super active, but now I'm training for a 1/2 Marathon. While I generally try to stay away from bread products, toast with peanut butter and a bit of honey has been the best pre-run food for my energy level and also easy on my stomach. Type in 'Whole30 marathon fuelling' or similar and you should come up with numerous hits to previous threads. You could also have a read at fellow mod ultrarunnergirls blog for some tips & ideas.
