MJchelle
Starting today, I had the spinach and tomato frittata, which is as close to eating an egg as I'll ever ger. The thought or smell of a scrambled, hard boiled, fried, poached, etc., egg makes me physically ill. I can take the frittata, but that's it. Any hope for me? jmcbn
In short, yes. There are plenty of people who are allergic or sensitive to eggs and they can do it. You can too. Just remember that you can eat anything for breakfast that you'd eat for lunch or dinner - it's very freeing, and takes you miles away from that 'eggs for breakfast' mindset. This morning for instance I had an Italian sausage & sweet pepper casserole on a bed of green beans, kale & courgette. For lunch I had chicken with a cucumber, cherry tomato, beetroot, blueberry & cabbage slaw salad (plenty of mayo), and for dinner I'll have mackerel with mixed oven roasted veg & olives, and not an egg in sight! MeadowLily
I have ISWF and I don't know where "eggs only breakfasts" started but I've not eaten eggs alone for breakfast in over 2 years. You don't have to eat an egg again.
Karen_Suep
I am very similar with eggs. I just don't like them. I just finished my w30 and ate burgers for breakfast more than once. Or tacos. Obviously without bread or tortillas. A fav is Mel Joulwan's salmon cakes, especially on those days I don't want anything heavy first thing. Seriously breakfast is just breaking the overnight fast so you can eat anything
purplepadres
I'm on my 3rd Whole30, and seldom eat eggs for breakfast. I only like them freshly made, so frittatas are out. Reheated eggs and me just don't mix. I like Nom Nom Paleo's spicy tuna cakes, taco salads, or soup with protein for my breakfasts. Today I had Mel Joulwan's golden cauliflower soup with Nom Nom's kalua pig. Eggs for breakfast, just like "breakfast foods" in general, is a social construct.
