Robin R.
I had no idea where to post this, but here goes! I have always been a freuent urinator and especially as I get older I find that when I need to go, I need to go. I am settling into my fourth week and have been noticing that in spite of increased fluids, etc. I can actually go for a long time without needing to empty my bladder. It is GRAND! My oesteopath said something about less inflammation, therefore my body was holding less water. I also know that I am no longer drinking wine which I know can be a stimulant. Can you tell me exactly what this means? I did a search but all I found was how people were urinating more frequently, not less! Link to comment
Karen
In my experience, when I eat something my body doesn't like, my body holds into water. Think of it as the body's way of diluting stuff it thinks is toxic to prevent additional damage to the body. When you stop taking in those offending foods, your body can have a tendency to let go of that water, and fast. Many people early on in their Whole30s find they urinate much more as a result. Eventually, that excess water is gone and life is good again. Link to comment
Robin R.
I guess I am mostly curious because I never felt the increase in frequency of urination since I started the Whole30. But 3 weeks into it, I am noticing that I urinate far less frequently than I have in years. (So maybe I just skipped that stage or never noticed any increase?!) At any rate, I like it! Vladsmom
Really? I've always been a big water drinker, which means I go a lot. This round (my 2nd) of W30 has me peeing ALL.THE.TIME. I have a feeling I'm eating less salt because of no processed stuff, so there's nothing to soak up all the water, for lack of a better term, so it just goes right through. Link to comment
golden
Thanks for writing this. I am hoping that doing a W30 will help alleviate my frequent urination issues. I stopped drinking caffeine recently, and that helped, but I still get frequent, sudden urges to pee and have peed myself before, recently, both at home and in public. ... Link to comment
