Completed Day #25!!

Five more days to go..... 

I "feel" a whole lot better physically and mentally.  In fact, it's been many years since I've felt this good.  My hunger pains and sugar cravings are gone although I still miss sweets.

I spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen but I like to cook, so it's not a burden.  I've found a local farm where I buy organic, pastured beef, poultry, pork and butter/eggs.  For the first time in my life I'm going to the local farmer's market every weekend.  There's joy in cooking clean, healthy meals.

I can't honestly say that Whole30 feels "permanent" in my life.  I've read all the blogs, forums, etc and understand that it takes time to kick an old habit, or start a new one.  My most earnest hope is that I'll be able to carry on with the Whole30 lifestyle continually.  I think I'll start reading the reintroduction stuff now to get ready.

My husband is actually eating the food I prepare now.   "Hey, that looks really good!  I'll have that for dinner tonight!"  It's a miracle.
