RDS320
Can I buy/eat a product that says... May contain peanuts, other tree nuts, milk, egg, wheat and soy. I read every Almond package label and they all said the same thing. As well as other nuts and dried fruits and almond butter. Not sure if I just messed up my first day. Thank you for your help. Karen_Suep
If you were severely allergic to any of those than no. It's essentially companies covering their butts for the common allergens
RDS320
Thank yo Karen_Suep, I understand that it is for allergies. I just wanted to be sure it was still Whole30 compliant. I appreciate your help.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 2, 2016 We ignore these warnings for the purposes of the Whole30. It is mainly legal boilerplate.
RDS320
Thank you - It would have been good to ask before my shopping trip. Oh well.
MaryCB
Dang! I wish I would have read this earlier! I passed up some things because of that warning, too! I thought my store just didn't carry good nuts!
