Maltodextrin

Neither maltodextrin nor corn syrup contain trace amounts of corn protein, which is what would cause a reaction - meaning neither would really be suitable for a corn reintro, but that if you found that you were sensitive to corn you should still be able to eat products containing either ingredient. Corn starch may invoke a reaction but has only minimal amounts of corn protein and is generally deemed safe for those with a corn allergy.

Hope this helps.
