Mentally calculating food

I am on day 11 of my 3rd Whole 30.  I am starting to feel really good, and I have a lot of NSV's.  It seems like I have a mental block.  I find myself mentally calculating fat grams, carb grams, protein grams, calories.  I don't actually log it, but still. . . I know and agree with all of the reasons to not calorie count.

I know Whole30 is not about weight loss, and I really don't have weight to lose. I am pretty small.   I eat template meals, in fact I eat more than the template recommendation, and I still have a hard time going 4-5 hours between meals.  I know I just need to eat more, but my brain is telling me that I am eating more than enough, though my body tells me I need more.

Any advice on getting past this mental block?

Calculations of calories fail to take into account your metabolism or activity level. The meal template and feelings of hunger do. So don't let calorie counts that are based upon partial data get in the way of holistic information.
