Breakfast and lunch were compliant and the dinner I have planned is as well. Yesterday, at the store I bought a bag of Brach's candy corn and pumpkins. It's the Halloween thing I love love love love!!! And I only get it once a year, and usually eat it by the handful (or two or three). I took one pumpkin with me to work to eat today. Ick! Yuck! Gag!!!! Woah!!! W30 has totally reset my taste buds. Waaaaay to sickeningly sweet. And I have (or had) the world's biggest sweet tooth. Ick-phoo. First lesson learned of what's not worth it. MEHolliday Posted October 10, 2016 Share Posted October 10, 2016 I am on Day 5 of reintroduction... SO happy with the Whole30. I lost 6 pounds, but I am really noticing the non-scale victories. Pants (some that I couldn't wear before) are fitting!! Less bloating - just feel better! My body is different, my mood/attitude is different... and it's a good thing. AND I found a new love - pilates The combination of my change in diet and the body weight exercises I am doing are a win-win. Reintroduction - I planned to do the "fast track" reintro as described in the Whole 30 book.. I have successfully reintroduced dairy - my day 31 treat was a little half n half in my coffee. I am actually alternating black at times and cream at times. Cream in my coffee wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. I've had butter/sour cream on a baked potato at restaurant. other than that, eating is in line with Whole 30. I think I will take the reintroduction slower than I had planned. I am feeling so good - eating way more veggies - I will reintroduce things as they come up, but be sure to stick with Whole 30 in between reintroducing things, so that I can evaluate how they affect me. Muffins sound REALLY good to me right now - but I am going to wait. This feeling good thing is worth it Congrats, Vladsmom, on spitting out the sugar. Dark chocolate is something I LOVE - but I'm out of the habit of my daily chocolate fix and I really don't want to get back into that rut.
