KimSilverton
Has anyone had success ordering seafood online? A google search pulls up plenty of options, but would love to hear any Whole9ers experiences. Especially if anyone has found anything remotely affordable. I should probably add more seafood into my diet, and would like to buy fish on Monterey Bay Aquarium's 'Super Green' list. It would be great to find fish certified by the Marine Stewardship Council too. Unfortunately, I live in a small mountain town a good 5+ hours from the nearest Trader Joe's, Costco or Wholefoods. I've been using this list I found on eatingwell.com: http://www.eatingwell.com/food_news_origins/green_sustainable/fish_and_shellfish_6_to_eat_6_to_avoid?page=2 1. Albacore Tuna (troll- or pole-caught, from the U.S. or British Columbia) 2. Salmon (wild-caught, Alaska) 3. Oysters (farmed) - cold waters 4. Sardines, Pacific (wild-caught) 5. Rainbow Trout (farmed, U.S.) 6. Freshwater Coho Salmon (farmed in tank systems, from the U.S.)
