BarbaraM
Hello. My hubby, daughter, and I are all on the Whole30. Hubby completed his first month and is now doing it with us. I'm on Day 13, and 16yod is on Day 4. None of us have experience the stuff you read about in the book - headaches, bad fatigue, etc. We were definitely on the SAD diet before and not eating healthy, so I'm surprised there haven't been any symptoms like I read about? I'm certainly not complaining, just curious? I'm wondering if there is so much garbage in my body, cells, etc., that it is taking a while to detox?? And I must say, I am LOVING the Whole30. Yummy foods, as much as you want - it's been fun!!! Thanks, Barb
jmcbn
Not everyone experiences the carb flu, the fatigue, or the headaches - I certainly didn't.... I didn't experience the Kill All The Things stage either, although I'd have sold my soul to the Devil for a glass of milk on day 4, and my training suffered from around day 6-14... We each start out from a different place so it's only to be expected that the journey will be a little different for each of us. I'd be grateful you're 'settling in' symptom free allowing you time to get used to the dietary changes before you're thrown any curve balls. MeadowLily
I was a walking gummy bear can but I didn't experience KAT or the illnesses others have. I quit coffee without caffeine withdrawal headaches. It's a mystery why some feel ill and others breeze through.
