I agree with the above suggestions. Also, a tiny bit of toasted sesame oil is great (a little goes a long way); a little rice vinegar, some red pepper flakes, and you can even thicken with a little sunflower nut butter. But I wouldn't go out and buy all these things; use what you have. I would see coconut aminos, ginger and garlic as things you'll definitely want in your pantry.
