Developing oral allergy syndrome?

I'm on day 18 and over the past few days have been experiencing an itchy mouth/somewhat swollen roof of mouth after eating cantaloupe and eggplant. After a bit of internet searching, it looks like a relatively standard symptom of oral allergy syndrome but not something I have ever experienced before - with these foods or others. As a note - I've eaten both of these foods before but this is the first time I've had them while on the Whole30. Have others experienced similar issues developing new intolerances/allergies while strictly adhering to the Whole30 program?

Thanks!

Sadly, yes.  I'm a huge fan of hazelnuts and macadamias.  Have been my go-to packing snack for years of oddly scheduled days.  But during my first whole30 I realized they are no longer welcomed by my body.  Ah well.  Time to let go, lol.

Same here, I love cauliflower but all of a sudden my system says no -_- which puts a damper on all the caulirice side dishes and meals I had planned. Is there a thread for alternatives for ppl with food allergies?
