mompoet
I am doing my first Whole30. It's Day 6 and I haven't experienced any of the bad stuff - no cravings, no hangover, no moodiness or tiredness. The only negative thing I have noticed is a bit of sluggishness when I run. I am feeling better in one way so far: I don't get really hungry between meals. I have always been a whole food eater and healthy food cook, but my normal eating includes lots of grains and lots of dairy, and a glass of wine or a beer at supper 5 days out of 7. I expected that giving these things up would make me feel some impact, at least at the beginning. It makes me wonder if I'm doing it right, or if maybe I will hit the wall at a later date? Has anyone else had this experience? What happens next?
barty90
I did not have this experience, but my partner did. He seemed perfectly fine, until about day 10-12! Not to say "yours will come", it might not, everyone's experience is different! But definitely don't think it won't, because day 6 is still quite early.
