nmatheson1
Hi all, I'm on day 7. Aside from the odd hunger pang I am feeling fairly good. My only gripe is that the last few days I have been feeling really boated after dinner. My dinner has usually consisted of either sweet potato or squash, veggies/avacado and a protien. Has anyone experienced this before? Do you have any advice or ideas as to why this is happening? -Natalie
jmcbn
Avocado can be a problem food for a lot of people, as can sweet potato - they are both high FODMAP foods, which can cause bloating, gas/wind, constipation or diarrhoea in those sensitive to them, so you might try cutting those out for a few days to see if things improve.. If you're having hunger pangs then you need to eat more
kanmuri
If you were on a lot of antibiotics as a kid and/or have been eating the SAD for a while your gut flora might be weaken and you might have a yeast overgrowth. Yeast thrives on carbs (and probiotics, btw.) Try to see if it's systematic and if so, maybe consult a holistic doctor. Keep it up!
