Quinnky1
I'm at the end of day 3 and still feel completely fine ... no headaches, energy level is the same, etc. I was expecting to feel pretty horrible by now. Is this normal? Makes me worry that I'm doing something wrong.
kanmuri
Everyone reacts differently. It also depends on how "clean" your diet was before you started. I personally find I get the headaches when I starve the sugar dragon.
barty90
Totally normal not to have felt something so early on, 3 days, is early on! My partner didn't feel anything until day 12-15. He got real cranky then. But it doesn't mean it's not "working" if you don't feel anything! I feel the only time you should worry is if you're at the END of your 30 days and have felt absolutely no non scale victories, then you might want to extend your whole30. Crastney
if you're worried, then post up some examples of what you used to eat, and what you're eating now. but personally I wouldn't worry for another couple of weeks, and hopefully by that time you'll have noticed a whole load of differences. CoffeeBean
I can relate to your concern.. stick to focusing on following the rules (& recommendations); trust the process from there. The timeline nearly never crossed paths with me so I just disregarded it outside of a humor. By the end of my first W30 (which was recent) I had no doubt that it changed me from the inside out. Idk if curiosity is an equally compelling force for you, but (like a science experiment) what kept me steady was the desire to see it through with full effort. I'm glad I did, and trust you will be too. Best of luck (:
