BrittywithLove
Hi everyone, I'm in my reintroduction phase of my Whole30. I just reintroduced soy on Tuesday (10/11) and now I'm going full whole30 for a few days. I am planning on reintroducing wine this Saturday (10/15) since I'm going on a trip with my boyfriend. I'll go full Whole30 again until Tuesday (10/18) when I reintroduce non-gluten grains. Now it gets a little tricky. I have been planning a trip to Arizona from Friday, 10/21- Sunday, 10/23 for a large scale conference and it'll be a one year reunion with many many friends and colleagues. I definitely want to have some wine with my friends on that Friday and Saturday. Will I ruin my reintroduction? Can I do something like... have the wine and then go Whole30 for another week to "reset" and then reintroduce the rest of the food groups? I would love and appreciate some advice on this. Thanks! becs
My guess is that it would be okay to do a second "reintroduction" of wine in AZ, assuming your food stays Whole30 compliant during the trip (so that you're not reintroducing multiple things at once). In fact, I would think it's okay to reintroduce any food group multiple times in order to truly evaluate them, as long as you follow the rules and give yourself enough time in between each reintroduction to recover from any ill effects. I also want to bump this post up as I'm curious to see what the experts have to say
