Day 14...very discouraged

I am the farthest thing from a Debbie Downer but I am feeling so discouraged.  It's Day 14 and I've been following the Whole30 to the letter.  I am not experiencing ANY of the "magic" promised.  I'm constipated (which I've never been before), my clothes don't fit even the slightest bit better, I'm still dragging ass in the middle of the day, and I feel ambivalent about everything.   I'm usually a sunny person, cheerful, and enthusiastic but lately I just feel so subdued about everything.  I've definitely had a few "sugar dragon" moments but I've been able to get through them.  I'm hoping maybe some of you could offer some reassurance that this could all be normal? I'm not planning on giving up but I want this to be worth it.  Thank you so much for letting me vent!

It might be normal -- this is a 30-day program, and some people don't notice the magic until the very last week or even after the initial 30 days, depending on what their health and eating was like before they started. It might be that you're not eating enough, or enough of the right things -- if you list a couple of days' worth of typical meals with approximate portion sizes, we can take a look and see if there's anything you could tweak that might help. It could be that you're not drinking enough water (aim for 1/2 oz per pound of body weight, so a 120 lb person needs at least 60 oz) or that you're not salting your food. Or it could be not food related at all -- stress or not getting enough sleep could certainly contribute.

Well, I am definitely not getting enough water, that much I know.  I probably get a liter in a day.  Yesterday my menu went like this:

Breakfast (0800): Protein salad (boiled chicken, grapes, celery, almonds and homemade mayo) with a squeeze of lemon juice, approximately 2 cups and a red pear.

Lunch (1300): Leftover spaghetti squash topped with meat sauce (Bison browned in bacon fat and the book's spaghetti sauce).

Dinner (2100 - much later than normal): Oven roasted chicken (the thigh and leg) and melted potatoes (Yukon gold potatoes made with olive oil, ghee, rosemary, salt and pepper, and homemade bone broth).

I also had two glasses of club soda with a lemon and lime at dinner because we were entertaining.

This is pretty much what my normal day looks like, aside from the time of day.  I also use Factor75 meals when I'm too busy to cook which are Whole30 compliant, or the onese I choose are anyway.  So I know I need to increase my water intake.  I also notice that I don't really have much of an appetite either these days.

Bumping this for you!

I'm thinking adding more veggies to your meals will help. Celery is basically nothing when it's your only veggie in the morning. Try some broccoli, spinach, or bell peppers as well. I am not sure what the books spaghetti sauce is, but as long as it's veggie heavy, it's good in my book! And dinner, add some veggies other than potatoes.

I'm just following this because I'm on day 14, super constipated and not enjoying that at all.
