singalongnlc Posted October 17, 2016 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Hello all! I'm starting the Whole 30 today and I'm definitely excited to begin! I've been planning and preparing myself for a few weeks because I don't want this to be another failed diet attempt for me. I decided to try the Whole 30 for several reasons: 1) to overcome my unhealthy relationship with food, and 2) to help figure out what foods are making my gut so unhappy. I was treated for an ulcer a year ago and since then, I have struggled with stomach pain, acid reflux, indigestion, nausea, and worsened IBS issues (I was diagnosed with IBS at 19). I have done some reading on the forum and I know that my symptoms may get worse before they get better, but I figure that I really have nothing to lose. I'm a single mom of 2, working full time, and in school full time, so I think for me the hardest part of this is going to be meal prep.
