Infuriated is a pretty strong word to use. This conversation was a product of not knowing the exact manufacturing process of a particular brand, which we suggested to email the company about. If you choose to make the assumption that anything that says 'extract' means alcohol because it makes you feel more comfortable in your own context, then that's totally fine but it's not called out in the rules and as the post above says, there are ways to make some extracts without alcohol. Please also remember when chastising the moderators that we are all volunteers that spend our own time to help people navigate this program. Whether that is helping with meal planning or trying to figure out what 'extract' means, we're humans... just like you. And we are also members of this community... if another member has to correct a moderator (which has happened rarely in the past), it's not worth being infuriated over... we're all here to help each other.
