Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted October 19, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2016 Did you look at the ingredients? I've never seen Craisins without sugar...
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted October 19, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2016 You can find dried cranberries sweetened with apple juice, but they can be hard to find. You might have to go someplace like Whole Foods or Sprouts or a health food store to find them. Those would be okay, assuming they don't have any other off-plan ingredients. Dried fruit is something you'd want to limit anyway, it's easy to overeat it.
Whole30 Certified Coach littleg Posted October 19, 2016 Whole30 Certified Coach Share Posted October 19, 2016 I buy apple juice sweetened ones in the bulk bins at my local co-op. Usually an ounce at a time because they are super easy to overeat. They are wonderful in this recipe (which is a very W30 way to eat them). kruddock
Quite often you will find that even these ones have sunflower or canola oil. We try to avoid these oils, if possible. That being said, I like to use them in Kale Salad.
