jenb1830
I have been taking a freeze dried green grasses supplement (green vibrance brand) along with some protein powder in the mornings with some water for breakfast for a few years now. I have my whole30 start date scheduled for 10/15 and was considering to continue this practice--minus the protein powder, of course--but wanted to get some feedback on using freeze dried juice powder as a supplement... Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Andrea D.
I believe that the Whole 30 position would be to eat real food rather than get it from a supplement. Also, I did a quick scan of the label on the Green Vibrance brand that you referenced and it contains soy lecithin and brown rice bran so based on those ingredients it's a NO-GO for Whole 30. jenb1830
Thanks for your reply. I was leaning toward that, Andrea, so I erred on the side of caution and just had a nice breakfast without the green vibrance. It will be a definite break from my usual but to be honest, isn't that the point? thanks again!
