Let's get this party started!

I am on day 0. Tomorrow will be my first official day! I have been paleo-ish for a while but haven't had the success I wanted, so here I am! I am ready to reset my body and start a new life journey! Hope I can count on all of you to help me through it!

Things I am hoping to gain:

MY HEALTH! - but particularly - reverse my PCOS, end the joint pain in my knees and hips, and get better mental clarity including get of ADD meds. (speaking of meds, does anyone know if taking my ADD meds is going to mess this process up? I am not that far into the book yet, so I am not sure if it speaks to that?)

Weight loss - my long time goal

Happiness - I want to feel comfortable in my own skin for the first time in my life

Life long friendships?! - hoping to gain some awesome friends


My fears:

I am a flight attendant, often gone for days to a week at a time, having to pack all my food. Sometimes I worry my food will go bad in the process, sometimes the hotel fridge freezes all my fresh veggies, which in turn ruins them. Sometimes my entire crew wants to go have a drink or get some food and I love being around people!

I worry that this, like all other things I have tried to fix my health is not going to work. My PCOS makes my weight loss journey 10x harder than the average person, it's like beating my head against a wall and often gets me feeling defeated.

I fear the "after"... I hope I can stick to my guns on this one!
