SweetPeaJen
Hello to whomever can answer my question, I haven't started this whole30 journey yet and I am so excited to. I am still going through the book (The 30-Day Guide) and I noticed that clarified or ghee butter is allowed. I do not like butter and I've always had soy based butter like Earth Balance. I was wondering if the melt brand butter would be okay? Here is the website of their nutrition: http://www.meltorganic.com/health-nutrition/the-skinny/ Thank you. Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted November 15, 2016 Moderators Share Posted November 15, 2016 This product has canola oil as well as flax oil (the high oleic sunflower oil is fine) which is not approved for home use... vegetable/seed oils are only approved for eating out if there are no other options. If you don't like butter or ghee, why not try other oils such as animal fats, coconut oil, avocado oil etc...

DeeRT
The coconut oil is pretty good...I find the taste to be very neutral.
