bjyoung116
I work at an elementary school as an assistant and at least twice a week there are goodies of some sort in the teachers' lounge. At least five separate occasions I've had to say "no, thank you." That was hard because I felt guilty because people provide treats for the staff to show their appreciation for us and all we do. Fortunately, several are familiar with W30 and understand. This past week there was a huge cake in the lounge to show appreciation for the assistants. It looked delicious but I was able to look at it and go on with my day. I didn't feel like I was missing out. I didn't feel a craving! That's huge for me! Sugar is my thing definitely. I can go without grains and dairy all day long, but sugar is another story. It's a wild feeling. I just wanted to say keep plugging away and you'll get there! I'm so hopefully I'm on my way to food freedom!
nicolelw8
Congrats! That is a huge step - it was for me as well. It feels so liberating when you realize that you don't even miss it. Keep up the great work
saraip
That's great news! I feel the same way I can easily say no to pizza, pasta, sugar, and treats! Whole30 changed me and I'm loving it!
