NicoleGC
Hi everyone, I am on Day 9 of my first Whole30, and I swear that each day my clothes fit me differently. I know this sounds crazy, but I don't think it is all in my imagination. For example, yesterday my pants fit fine, and today they were tight in the thighs. Over the weekend a dress that used to fit fine was tight up top, but fit better through the hips. Has anyone else experienced this? At times I feel like my body is changing for the worse, although I do feel better and no longer crave sugar. The concerns about my physical self changing is offsetting the positive feelings I would get about feeling better in general. Link to comment
Susan W
Yep that is the magic. Let it go and enjoy it. Link to comment
Flynn
Have you worked out or lifted weights? I always find that my thighs are a little bigger the day after I've done squats or other leg exercises. Link to comment
Susan W
I work out 6 days a week. Just let the 30 days go by and don't think too hard about it. Link to comment
NicoleGC
I have done some weightlifting, but not enough that I think it would make that much of a difference. Is it possible I haven't adapted to burning fat yet? How will I know when I do? Link to comment
Laura B
You are over-thinking it It might take a little while to be truly fat adapted, but a way to know is when you go a little longer than usual without eating (not on purpose!) and you aren't starving. That's usually a good sign that your body is running on fat. Link to comment
