TheaZ
Hi there - very new to Whole 30 aka Day 1. I took a trip to the store after reading through some forums and websites (book arrives tomorrow), and saw this product: Kelp Noodles. I saw that it had mixed reviews on this site, because some are compliant and some are not. What about this brand? I am attaching a photo of the front and the ingredients (the last one is tricky for me). Thanks!
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted January 4, 2017 Moderators Share Posted January 4, 2017 These are technically compliant but out because we don't want recreated manufactured noodles of any kind... zoodles are okay because it's one vegetable that has been cut into strips, but this is a processed food... kelp pretending to be noodles. If you found straight kelp that looked like kelp from the ocean and the only ingredient in it was kelp and you chopped it into strips, then yes... this product? Nope. TheaZ
@SugarcubeOD got it! Getting the hang of it now. I had thought for some reason that they came out of the sea like this. I think I am referencing some shark tank episode lol!
